SHERAZI: ZI Development Evaluation Improves Quality of Bureaucratic Reform

December 27, 2024 | Other Activities

In order to strengthen the implementation of the Integrity Zone (ZI) towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) and a Clean Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM), the East Java Province BPS is again holding a SHERAZI (Searching Knowledge about the Integrity Zone) activity with the theme "Evaluation of Integrity Zone Development." This activity was held online on Friday, December 27, 2024 and was attended by all BPS Regencies/Cities throughout East Java.

The event was opened by Satriyo Wibowo, Head of the General Section of the East Java Province BPS, who conveyed the importance of a joint commitment to overseeing bureaucratic reform within the BPS environment. "The Integrity Zone is not only an administrative target, but also a work culture that must continue to be built for better public service," he said in his opening remarks.

As the main speaker, Pramana Yhoga, Head of the ZI and SDI Team, explained the strategic steps to evaluate and strengthen the implementation of the Integrity Zone in each work unit. The material presented includes an evaluation of the implementation of the 2024 action plan, identification of obstacles and challenges, and innovative solutions in achieving the ZI success indicators in 2025. Not only that, the 2025 ZI Evaluation Schedule plan was also presented which can be used as a guideline by BPS Regency/City in East Java.

This activity is an important forum to align perceptions and strengthen synergy between work units in the implementation of ZI. With a comprehensive evaluation, it is hoped that all work units under the BPS of East Java Province can continue to progress towards achieving WBK and WBBM, while also making a real contribution to national bureaucratic reform.
