SHERAZI: Integrity Zone Development Activities 2025

BPS East Java Province once again held a SHERAZI activity with the theme of Initial Stage Independent Assessment for BPS Regency/City in East Java. This activity took place on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, and was attended by representatives from BPS Regency/City throughout East Java.

The event was opened by Satriyo Wibowo, Head of General Affairs of BPS East Java Province, who expressed the importance of implementing independent assessments for evaluating and improving agency performance. Satriyo also gave his appreciation to the work units (satker) that had succeeded in achieving the WBK (Corruption-Free Area) predicate in 2024. According to him, Integrity Value is not just a formality, or fulfilling administrative requirements, but is reflected in daily behavior.

This activity presented two competent speakers, namely Pramana Yhoga Chandra, Head of the ZI and SDI Team, and La Ode Ahmad Arafat. Pramana and La Ode provide an in-depth understanding of the importance of independent assessment of the Integrity Zone in the context of submitting WBK and WBBM work units in 2025

This SHERAZI activity is expected to be an important initial step for Regency/City BPS in improving the quality of services and strengthening the existing managerial system, in order to realize a more responsive, transparent, and accountable BPS.
