Thursday (16/01), the Head of the East Java Province BPS, Zulkipli, warmly received a visit from the Acting Mayor of Probolinggo, Muhammad Taufik Kurniawan, and his entourage. This visit aims to strengthen synergy and collaboration in the use of statistical data to support evidence-based development.
The group was also attended by regional officials from Probolinggo City, namely the Regional Secretary of Probolinggo City, Head of the PPPA Social Service, Head of the Communication and Informatics Service, representatives of Bappeda Litbang, and the Head of BPS Probolinggo City. The discussion focused on the plan to use the Singasari application as a regional database to support regional-based planning and policy-making.
In addition, BPS East Java also introduced Halo PST, an online data consultation system that allows local governments to consult directly with expert statisticians. This system is expected to facilitate access to the latest data and support more measurable and strategic decision-making.
This visit is a strategic initial step in strengthening synergy between BPS and the Probolinggo City Government. By utilizing data technology and innovative services, this collaboration is expected to increase efficiency and accuracy in supporting regional development.
