Comparative Studies to the East Java Provincial Disperpusip and ESDM Service

BPS East Java Province continues to strive to improve the quality of its public services. At the beginning of 2025, BPS East Java is focusing on building inclusive and friendly services for vulnerable groups. As part of this step, a study tour was conducted at two agencies in East Java that have won the Best Vulnerable Group-Friendly Public Service award from KemenpanRB, namely the East Java Provincial Library and Archives Service and the East Java Provincial ESDM Service.

During a visit to the East Java Provincial Library and Archives Service on Tuesday (14/1), BPS East Java studied various innovations and utilization of technology specifically designed for vulnerable groups, such as the use of various special applications and websites that are friendly and easy to access. BPS East Java continued learning at the East Java Provincial ESDM Service on Tuesday (21/1). The main focus is various accessibility facilities specifically designed for vulnerable groups, such as ramps, guiding blocks, and the use of Braille in room instructions.

This series of study tours is an important step for BPS East Java in formulating strategic policies to improve inclusive statistical services.
