Abstract

 Agricultural Growth Rate (NTP) of Jawa Timur in October 2009 fell 0.37 percent from 99.74 to 99.37. This is because the increase in the price index received by farmers (It) is smaller than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib). Of the five provinces on the island of Java performing NTP tally in October 2009, East Java Province experienced the second lowest decrease after West Java Province decreased 0.18 percent, while the highest decrease occurred in Yogyakarta Special Province by 1.05 percent.
