• The number of the workforce in February 2020 was 22.13 million people, up 545.39 thousand compared to February 2019. In line with this, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) also increased 1.18 points.
• In the last year, unemployment decreased by 10.26 thousand people, while TPT fell to 3.69 percent in February 2020. Viewed from the level of education, TPT for Vocational High Schools (SMK) still dominates among other education levels, which is 8.04 percent.
• The population of employed is 21.32 million, an increase of around 555.66 thousand from February 2019. Employment has increased the percentage of the population employed, especially Education Services (0.41 percentage point), Health Services and Social Activities (0, 25 percentage points), and Construction (0.19 percentage points). On the other hand, employment decreased the main percentage in Other Services (0.27 percentage point), Transportation and Warehousing (0.24 percentage point), Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (0.19 percentage point). Although the percentage decreased, the number of workers in Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries increased by 137.43 thousand people.
