The Jawa Timur Fishermen Exchange Rate (NTN) in July 2020 decreased by 0.41 percent

Abstract

• East Java Fishermen Exchange (NTN) in July 2020 decreased 0.41 percent from 95.43 in June 2020 to 95.04 in July 2020. This decrease was caused by the price index received by fishermen decreased by 0.37 percent, while the price index paid by fishermen rose by 0.04 percent.

• The development of NTN in July 2020 against December 2019 (calendar year) decreased by 3.03 percent. The development of NTN in July 2020 against July 2019 (year-on-year) decreased by 3.36 percent.

• Out of the six provinces in Java that calculated NTN in July 2020, four provinces experienced an increase in NTN and two provinces experienced a decrease in NTN. The increase in NTN occurred in West Java Province by 0.01 percent, DKI Jakarta Province rose 1.27 percent, Central Java Province rose 1.96 percent, and DI Yogyakarta Province rose 2.00 percent. The provinces that experienced a decline in NTN were Banten Province by 1.15 percent and East Java Province with a decrease of 0.41 percent.
