The Fisherman's Exchange Rate (NTN) in East Java in July 2021 increased by 0.62 percent

Abstract

The East Java Fisherman's Exchange Rate (NTN) in July 2021 rose 0.62 percent from 101.22 in June 2021 to 101.85 in July 2021. This increase was due to the price index received by fishermen rising by 0.66 percent, and the index of prices paid by fishermen rose by 0.04 percent.

The development of NTN in July 2021 against December 2020 (calendar year) increased by 5.81 percent. The development of NTN in July 2021 compared to July 2020 (year-on-year) increased by 7.17 percent.

Of the six provinces on the island of Java that calculated NTN in July 2021, four provinces experienced an increase in NTN. DKI Jakarta Province increased by 2.11 percent, Central Java Province rose 1.07 percent, East Java Province rose 0.62 percent, and West Java Province increased 0.16 percent. The ones that experienced a decrease in NTN were Banten Province by 0.31 percent, and the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province which fell by 0.44 percent.
