If converted into rice, rice production in 2021 is estimated to reach 5.69 million tons.
  • The rice harvested area in 2021 is estimated at 1.755 million hectares, an increase of 433 hectares or 0.02 percent compared to 2020 which was 1.754 million hectares.
  • Rice production in 2021 is estimated at 9.91 million tons of GKG, a decrease of 35 thousand tons or -0.36 percent compared to 2020 which was 9.94 million tons of GKG.
  • If the potential for rice production in 2021 is converted into rice for the population's food consumption, rice production in 2021 is estimated at 5.69 million tons, a decrease of 20 thousand tons or -0.36 percent compared to 2020 which was 5.71 million tons.
