East Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in July 2022 rose 0.68 percent

Abstract

The East Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in July 2022 rose 0.68 percent from 101.97 to 102.66. The increase in NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) which increased by 1.17 percent, which was higher than the index of price paid by farmers (Ib) which rose by 0.49 percent.

In July 2022, three agricultural sub-sectors experienced an increase in FTT and two sub-sectors experienced a decline. The sub-sector that experienced the largest increase in FTT occurred in the Horticulture sub-sector by 5.96 percent from 123.38 to 130.74, followed by the Fisheries sub-sector by 1.11 percent from 101.87 to 103.00 and the Livestock sub-sector by 0.27 percent from 102 .20 becomes 102.47. The sub-sector that experienced the largest decrease in FTT was the Food Crops sub-sector by 0.36 percent from 97.44 to 97.09, followed by the People's Plantation Sub-sector by 0.08 percent from 103.21 to 103.12.

Of the five provinces in Java that calculated NTP in July 2022, three provinces experienced an increase in NTP while two provinces experienced a decrease. The largest increase in NTP occurred in Central Java Province by 0.98 percent, followed by West Java by 0.91 percent and East Java by 0.68 percent. Meanwhile, the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Banten Province by 0.48 percent, followed by the Special Region of Yogyakarta by 0.21 percent.
