The Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib). NTP is one of the indicators to assess the purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also reflects the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or used for production costs. The Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jawa Timur in June 2024 increased by 2.22 percent from 108.61 to 111.03. This increase in NTP was due to a rise in the price index received by farmers (It) by 2.01 percent, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.21 percent.
