In July 2024, there were 34,446 visits by foreign tourists to East Java through Juanda entry point

Abstract

In July 2024, the number of visits by foreign tourists to East Java through the Juanda entry point was 34,446. This represents an increase compared to the condition in June 2024. The number of foreign tourist visits in July 2024 increased by 69.66 percent compared to the number in July 2023, which was 20,303 visits.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in East Java in July 2024 reached 59.55 percent, an increase of 4.53 points compared to the previous month. The occupancy rate of five-star hotels, which was 66.66 percent, was the highest among other star-rated hotels.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star classified hotels in East Java in July 2024 reached 23.61 percent, a decrease of 0.60 points compared to the previous month.

The Average Length of Stay (RLMT) of foreign guests in star-classified hotels during July 2024 was recorded at 2.32 days, an increase of 0.36 points compared to June 2024. The overall RLMT in July 2024 was 1.54 days, an increase of 0.09 points compared to June 2024.

Gresik Regency had the highest star and non-star hotel TPK in July 2024 in East Java, at 65.85 points, while Ngawi Regency had the lowest star and non-star hotel TPK in July 2024 in East Java, at 12.17 points.
