Producer Price Statistics of Paddy in Jawa Timur Province 2017

Publication of Jawa Timur Province Grain Price Statistic Price Statistics 2017 is an annual publication issued by the Central Bureau of Statistics of Jawa Timur Province. The data presented in this publication are grain producer price data at the district and provincial levels during the period January to December 2017. The results of the grain producer price monitoring surveys include the number of observations, the lowest prices and the highest prices at the transaction point, the average price by the quality group , quality components, and price cases below the Government Purchase Price (HPP), both at the farmer and milling level. Considering that rice is a strategic commodity, the price of grain at both the farmers and mills level needs to be regulated by the government through Presidential Instruction No. 5 of 2015 dated March 17, 2015 concerning the Government Purchase Price (HPP Gabah) effective from March 17, 2015. This policy is needed to secure the price to create price stability in the market. Constructive criticisms and suggestions are desirable for improvements and improvements to future publications.
