Youth Statistics of Jawa Timur Province 2021

Youth has a strategic function and role in nation building. In the process of nation building, youth is a moral force, social control, and agent of change as the embodiment of its functions, roles, characteristics, and strategic position in national development. The strengths and potentials of youth are capital that can be developed for the advancement of human resources. The quality of qualified youth will be a strong foundation in facing competition; advances in science and technology; and changes in values, culture and norms. Therefore, accurate and up-to-date data are needed, especially those relating to youth as planning, development targets/targets, policy making and development evaluation.
This 2021 East Java Youth Statistics publication specifically reviews the condition of youth in East Java. Descriptive presentation in this presentation is expected to provide a general description of the potential of youth, which includes the structure of demographics, education, health, employment, as well as technology and information. This publication is expected to be one of the references in providing recommendations related to policies and development strategies in the field of youth.
