Youth Statistics of Jawa Timur Province 2024

Youth have strategic functions and roles in national development.In the process of national development, youth are a moral force, social control,and agents of change as a manifestation of their strategic functions, roles, characteristics, andpositions in national development. The strength and potential possessed byyouth are capital that can be developed for the advancement of human resources. The quality of qualified youth will be a strong foundation infacing competition; advances in science and technology; and changes in values, culture and norms. Therefore, accurate and up-to-date data is needed,especially those related to youth as planning, targets/goalsfor development, policy making and development evaluation.This East Java Youth Statistics Publication 2024 specifically reviews theconditions of youth in East Java. The descriptive presentation in this presentation is expected to provide a general picture of youth potential, which includesdemographic structure, education, health, employment, and technology andinformation. This publication is expected to be a reference in providing recommendations regarding policies and development strategies in the youth sector.
