Surabaya, November 8, 2024 – BPS East Java Province held an Exit Meeting with the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) as part of an effort to improve transparency and accountability in financial management. The activity, which took place in the 3rd floor Hall of BPS East Java Province, was opened directly by the Head of BPS East Java, Zulkipli, and attended by the team leaders and financial management team of BPS East Java.
In his remarks, Zulkipli expressed his appreciation to BPK for the good collaboration and valuable guidance provided during the audit process. He emphasized BPS East Java's commitment to continue improving financial governance in accordance with the principles of accountability and transparency, as a form of responsibility to the public.
On this occasion, BPK representatives also conveyed the findings and recommendations aimed at strengthening the quality of financial management within BPS East Java. These recommendations are expected to be an important guide in improving financial procedures and minimizing the potential for errors or deviations.
With this Exit Meeting, BPS East Java is committed to following up on all recommendations from BPK in order to strengthen the accountability of the institution in budget management.
