Abstract

In an effort to make optimal and sustainable use of fisheries resources in East Java, data and statistics are needed that are able to describe the condition of fisheries in East Java. The Central Statistics Agency in this case carried out the 2018 Fisheries Statistics Survey in East Java. The survey results are presented in the form of publications containing fishery reviews, graphs and tables detailed according to the Fishery Port (PP), Fishing and Aquaculture Companies.
With the publication of the 2018 East Java Province Fisheries Statistics publication, it is expected to be able to help stakeholders from the government, businessmen, academics and the general public understand and utilize Fisheries Statistics information. With this fisheries data, the policies taken by stakeholders are expected to improve the welfare of the community coupled with the preservation of the sustainability of fisheries resources.
