Producer Price Statistics of Paddy in Jawa Timur Province 2019

The publication of the Paddy Producer Price Statistics of East Java Province 2019 is an annual publication published by the Central Statistics Agency of East Java Province. Data presented in this publication are data on grain prices at district and provincial levels during the period January to December 2019. Results of the monitoring survey of grain producers prices include the number of observations, lowest prices and highest prices at the point of transaction, average prices by quality group , the quality component, and the case of prices below the Government Purchase Price (HPP), both at the farm and mill level.
Considering that grain is a strategic commodity, the price of grain both at the farmer and mill level needs to be regulated by the government through the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2015 dated March 17, 2015 concerning Government Purchase Grain Prices (GPA) which is effective starting March 17 2015. This policy is needed to secure prices in order to create price stability on the market.
