Human Development Index Jawa Timur Province 2019

This publication is part of the BPS-Statistics of Jawa Timur Province's efforts in order to see an outline of the welfare problems of the Jawa Timur Province population by representing it in a Human Development Index scale.It should be noted that this publication presents the HDI figures for a new method. In calculating the HDI for the new method, several changes and adjustments to the HDI have been made, both the indicators used and the calculation techniques. So it is hoped that the HDI figure for this new method is more valid and relevant in measuring human development achievements.
