Rice Producer Price Statistics of Jawa Timur Province 2024

Publication of East Java Province Rice Producer Price Statistics 2024 is an annual publication published by the Central Statistics Agency of East Java Province. The data presented in this publication is rice producer price data at the district and provincial levels during the period from January to December 2024. The results of the rice producer price monitoring survey include the number of observations, the lowest and highest prices at the transaction point, the average price according to quality group, quality components, and cases of prices below the Government Purchase Price (HPP), both at the farmer and milling levels. Rice is a strategic commodity, so the price of rice at both the farmer and milling levels needs to be regulated by the government through the Regulation of the National Food Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4 of 2024 concerning Amendments to the Regulation of the National Food Agency Number 6 of 2023 concerning Government Purchase Prices and Rice and Rice Price Rations. This policy is needed to secure prices in order to create price stability in the market and provide protection to farmers. Various constructive criticisms and suggestions are highly expected for the improvement and refinement of future publications.
