BPS East Java and BPD Ginsi East Java collaborate in preparation for SE 2026

BPS East Java Province continues to strengthen strategic collaboration to make the national statistics agenda a success. On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, BPS East Java Province signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the BPD of the Indonesian National Importers Association (GINSI) of East Java. The signing was carried out by the Head of BPS East Java Province, Zulkipli, and the Chairperson of the GINSI East Java Regional Management Board (BPD), Bambang Sukadi, at the BPS East Java Provincial Office, Surabaya.

This collaboration aims to strengthen data synergy in preparation for the 2026 Economic Census. As one of the strategic sectors, data related to foreign trade and logistics managed by BPD GINSI East Java is expected to be able to complete BPS data needs to support the implementation of a more accurate and comprehensive census.

The signing ceremony was attended by a number of representatives from BPS East Java Province and BPD GINSI East Java. With this collaboration, both parties are optimistic that they can present synergies that have a major impact on the success of the 2026 Economic Census and support data-based development policies in East Java.
