Development of East Java Consumer Price Index / Inflation July 2008

Starting July 2008 base year calculation Consumer Price Index (CPI)
using 2007 = 1 00 (formerly 2002 = 1 00) based on the results of the Cost Survey
Life (SBH) 2007. By using the new base year, in July 2008 occurred
national inflation of 1, 37 percent and East Java inflation 1, 37 percent. Of the 66 national cities,
all cities recorded inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Manokwari 4.33 percent and
the lowest occurred in Banda Aceh 0.25 percent. While from 1 0 city area in East Java all
also experienced inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Probolinggo at 3.08 percent and the lowest in Sumenep
0.72 percent.
